Simple but Powerful Google Search Tips

Preferences

• Click on Preferences to change the default number of results to a higher number.

Tabbed Browsing

• For maximum productivity, open your desired results in different background tabs in your web browser.
• You can do this with most browsers by clicking the middle/third button on the mouse, or by choosing from a list after right-clicking.
• Be sure to check your web browser’s preferences.

Advanced Search

• You may not always want to do this, but click on Advanced Search for simple but powerful options.

iPhone

• These options are also available for Safari on iPhone.
• Go Student Nurse recommends leaving the number of results preference at its default of 10.
